Does this sound like you?

“I almost always feel guilty after eating.”

“When I’m watching TV or I’m bored, I just want to eat.”

“I’ll be good all day until the evening hits and all hell breaks loose!”

“When I’m stressed or get into a disagreement, I beeline it towards the kitchen!”

“If I’m home alone, I’ll just eat everything in sight!”

“Once I start eating the chips or ice cream, I can’t stop!”

Hi, I’m Rachel and I, too, used to be an emotional eater.

RM_BF_ImRachelMolenda.jpg

The minute stress, boredom or sadness would strike, I would go into “auto-pilot” and dart towards my kitchen and eat nearly everything in sight.

Chips, peanut butter, cookies—cookies IN the peanut butter. Everything.

I felt so out of control, confused as to why I couldn’t stop and would be left swimming in guilt (and with a crippling belly ache).

I struggled for years before I finally figured out what was driving my emotional eating.

Before I figured out what I was really hungry for (hint: it wasn’t food).

You don’t have a food problem.

You have an unmet-needs problem.

I designed The Break Free Method to help women stop beating themselves up and understand why they actually turn to food to cope.

What They’re Saying

RM_Testimonial_Alyssa.jpg

“Working with Rachel was a pivotal moment in healing my relationship with food. She guided me to remove the idea that there are “good” and “bad” foods, helping me break the binge/restrict cycle that is so easy to fall into. Being both full of knowledge and easy to talk to, Rachel took the fear out of healing a bad relationship with food. Rachel was, and still is, a cheerleader in my life that I needed to remind me that I AM ENOUGH!”

— Alyssa  Lyn

“I’m able to bring food into the house that I would have normally binged. When I go to the cupboard for a snack, I ask myself, am I really hungry? If I’m not, I check in to see how I’m really feeling rather than reaching straight for the chips. I feel like I have the tools to get to the root and deal with my emotions now rather than turning to food, because let’s be honest, food wasn’t ever solving the problem in the first place.”
